Everyone deserves a happy childhood. But children living constantly at risk are often deprived of this simple right. They spend their days forced out of school; and stripped of opportunities to learn, develop healthy relationships, and simply play. Buhay Makulay exists for these children. If you share the same heart for children, you can join our team and  live out that passion to serve others.

VISION
Through the activities of Buhay Makulay, Filipino youth and children at risk will one day be children of hope. We provide authentic outreach that provides spiritual resources and builds life skills.

WHO WE ARE
The Buhay Makulay Children’s Project is a Filipino non-profit organization founded in 2009 to serve children and youth. We believe in every child’s right to play and have fun. The children are at the heart of our work and it is our vision that through our programs, children at risk grow into children of hope.

 

 

HOW WE SERVE
We serve children and youth directly impacted by extreme poverty, abuse, chronic/terminal illnesses, abandonment or death in the family. Our past and current programs include annual Children’s Fairs at a local hospital and government shelter, dance workshops, fun concerts, leadership workshops, community art sessions and young scholarship programs.
